Joseph Huse has particular experience of infrastructure projects, energy projects (including energy related acquisitions and disposals and nuclear power projects), construction, and international arbitration. His sector experience includes the energy, telecoms, transportation and water industries.

Joseph is co-head of Freshfields’ nuclear power group and a member of the energy and infrastructure practice group.

Joseph is the co-chair of the World Nuclear Association’s legal working group, Nuclear Law and Contracting, and a member of the International Nuclear Lawyers Association.

He is the author of the book 'Understanding and Negotiating EPC and Turnkey Contracts', published by Sweet & Maxwell.

Joseph is qualified to practise law in the US and France. He studied law and business administration at Boston College and also has a masters degree in business and tax law from the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne).

He was born in 1955 and has been a partner since 1995. Joseph speaks French and English.
