Freshfields advises UK Coal on Capital Raising
International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is advising UK Coal, the UK's largest coal mining operator, in connection with its £100 million capital raising by way of firm placing and placing and open offer, announced by the company today.
The Freshfields team was led by corporate partner David Sonter and senior associate James Morley, and included employment, pensions and benefits partner Nick Squire and tax partner Sarah Falk, corporate associates Crisa Cox, Will Dobbin, Chris Barker and tax associate Jenny Doak.
