Your path to our firm
If you're interested in becoming better acquainted with us, send us an application in writing or by email. This offer is open to advanced students in Austria and graduate trainees in Germany.
In our experience, in-house traineeships for graduates are an excellent way for us to get to know each other. The same goes for the training courses we offer advanced students at our Vienna office each summer. Many of our former trainees have gone on to become successful lawyers at the firm.
Application procedure
All incoming applications are reviewed by the relevant partners. If your application interests us, we will invite you for an interview. This interview is not just a way for us to get to know you; it also offers you the chance to find out more about how the firm works and to speak with a large number of our partners and staff.
If the first round of interviews goes well, applicants in Germany will be invited to visit at least one more office for further interviews. That way, both sides can form an overall impression for themselves.
Similarly, the first round of interviews at our Vienna office is followed by a second interview in Vienna and an invitation to visit one of our German offices.
We are aware that these daylong visits are to some extent our way of applying to you, given the many job opportunities available to highly qualified lawyers. For this reason, we are always open to any requests, feedback or even suggestions on how to improve the application procedure.
We will decide whether to make you an offer on the basis of the interview. No matter which office you want to start your career in, the decision will be made by the entire firm on the basis of your visits. The first person with whom you dealt when you applied will support you during the entire interview process and be available to answer your queries.
